Hurricane Helene Relief Supply Collection:
Mission Collection for hurricane Helene relief supplies - due at church this Sunday, Oct. 13th.
Those wanting to donate are asked to bring new or gently used blankets, clothing, hats and gloves (work and warmth), hygiene items (body wipes, soap, deodorant, shower wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste), flashlights (batteries), headlamps, lanterns, and storm radios (weather, AM, FM, Radio, light, USB charging, solar and battery powered)

The Lakeville Community Pantry had our quarterly meeting this week. We discussed Thanksgiving, Christmas and the
pantry needs. Donations are always needs and appreciated. Cindy J be working this Wed and will take our donations.

Joys:
The Flesch's are doing well! They salvaged many items from their mobile home and have found a villa to purchase in the
same complex as Bob's brother where they are staying now. They have met with FEMA representatives and believe
they will move in by the end of the month. Praise God! Answered prayers for sure.
The clothing that went to Savers weighed in at 885 pounds and yielded approximately $190. A big thank you to all
donated or helped in any way.
Craig P is home! His is making progress and glad to be in his own home. Prayers for his continued improvement as
well as for Tracey and Lawrence as they care for and minister to him.

Family Game Night:
We will be having a Game Night Pot Luck on Saturday, Oct. 5th from 5pm - 7:30pm. Meat and place settings will be provided. Bring a side and your favorite side or dessert. A sign up sheet will be in the fellowship hall. Bring your appetite, competitive spirit and have an evening of fun!!!

There will be a Used Book Sale at the Interfaith Center in Geneseo (11 Franklin St) Friday Oct 5th & Saturday Oct. 6th

Electronic Ministry:
As we continue to offer our electronic ministry both in the sanctuary and on Facebook, there may be some issues you would like adjusted; the sound, slide size, worship related items. There is a suggestion box in the Fellowship Hall for your comments. For those listening, what would you like to see a slide of that you don't already? Please feel free to comment by email. For all; Please remember we are not professionals but just trying our best to share our worship experience with as many folks as we can.

Session met on Thursday evening and we discussed the following:
We received a thank you note from Livonia Central School for the school supplies, hygiene items
and snacks. It is on the bulletin board
We started working on the 2025 budget

Several tasks have been taken care of around the building:
the 3 bay sink in the kitchen was repaired,
the front railing base was replaced.
Stewardship Sunday will be Nov. 17th or 24th
A gentle reminder to all of our cleaners; if you are unable to complete your weekly task, please ask someone to do it for you. And.. a big thank you to everyone who has taken these duties on.

Back to School Drive Mission Project info
School Supply/Hygiene Kit Drive in full swing. Hygiene items ordered from Amazon and Dollar Tree. $788 has been raised. Extra will be used for school supplies.

Sylvia M has been very busy working on our church website. Changes made are as follows:

Back to School Drive Mission Project info:
The elementary school is providing supplies to the students, but would like personal hygiene kits. The middle/high school requested a few supply items (listed below) and items for hygiene kits and bags to put items in. (50 kits - 25 male, 25 female). This year we have decided to purchase the hygiene kit items in bulk for efficiency and consistency. Each kit costs approximately $14 to fill. We are asking for cash donations towards this; a total of $700. We would appreciate monies by August 11th with the plan to assemble kits on August 25th. Any questions, please see Lori.

Classic Car Show & BBQ:
Thanks for all the help from everyone this weekend! The weather cooperated and the rain went around us, praise the Lord.
Approximately 30 cars attended for the Classic Car Show.
Everyone seemed to enjoy the music of steel drums.
The Chicken BBQ was SOLDOUT! All 250 dinners.
